Portland's Allen Crabbe scores 15 points, grabs five boards off the bench
Portland Trail Blazers Allen Crabbe led a strong bench effort on Sunday with 15 points (on 6-of-9 shooting), five rebounds, three assists and one steal, but it wasn't enough to avoid a 118-106 loss to the Golden State Warriors.
Fellow reserve Ed Davis added 11 points, seven rebounds and three assists before fouling out. Gerald Henderson chipped in five points, three boards and three points before being ejected. Crabbe has scored double-digit points in four straight games, shooting 60.6 percent during that span, and on Sunday he earned more playing time than starters Al-Farouq Aminu (15 points in 25 minutes) and Moe Harkless (10 points in 28 minutes).
In his third season, Crabbe set career highs across the board this year, averaging 10.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists with a 54.1 Effective Field Goal Percentage. His 0.8 nERD ranked 72nd.
