Grizzlies' Brandan Wright diagnosed with sprained MCL

Memphis Grizzlies forward/center Brandan Wright has been diagnosed with a right MCL sprain and will be out indefinitely.

What It Means:

Considering the injury is to his surgically-repaired right knee, it would be shocking to see him back this season. Although no surgical procedure will be required this time around, Wright is not a stash in any format given this development. JaMychal Green, Zach Randolph and Matt Barnes will all be locked into sizable roles the rest of the way.

Wright has played in just 12 games this season and owns a 0.8 nERD, which ranks 67th. He's averaging 6.9 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game while posting a 66.3 True Shooting Percentage. Of Green, Randolph and Barnes, our projections like Randolph the best for Monday's game against the Denver Nuggets -- he's our 17th-ranked forward on FanDuel.
