Kentavious Caldwell-Pope will be ready for Pistons right after break
Detroit Pistons shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (groin) said he "for sure" will be back and playing right after the break.
That means he is going to play on February 19 against the Wizards. If Caldwell-Pope is indeed going to be back, that makes Stanley Johnson slightly less appealing even though he may have earned more run. Caldwell-Pope should be picked up if he happens to be sitting on any wires.
Caldwell-Pope currently ranks 74th in the league with a 0.2 nERD. He is averaging 14.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.5 3-pointers per game on 42.1 percent shooting from the field. In his third season, the former lottery pick is posting a career-best 48.1 Effective Field Goal Percentage.
