LeBron James posts first triple-double of year as Cleveland rolls
Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James had his first triple-double of the season during a 120-100 win over the Sacramento Kings on Monday, scoring 21 points with 10 rebounds, 10 assists, one block, two steals and one 3-pointer in 31 minutes.
League-wide, it's the 40th triple-double of the season, which is the seventh most in NBA history. James is getting more shots now even with Kyrie Irving coming around.
For the year, James is averaging 24.9 points, 7.1 rebounds, 6.4 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.0 3-pointers per game. His 57.0 True Shooting Percentage is down from recent years and represents the lowest mark since the 2007-'08 season. James' 27.0 percent clip from downtown is the worst clip of his career. His 14.8 nERD is still the fifth-best mark in the league.
