Salah Mejri likely to start for Mavericks on Tuesday
Dallas Mavericks center Salah Mejri is the probable starter against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday.
With Zaza Pachulia (Achilles) doubtful, Mejri is listed as the probable starter against the Lakers. JaVale McGee and Dwight Powell could see a bump in minutes if he sits, but Mejri put up 10 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks on Sunday without Pachulia.
Mejri has played three games in January and is averaging 20.8 minutes while putting up 10.7 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per contest. He's made 12 of his 15 shots from the field and has gone 8-for-11 at the line. His 0.7 nERD ranks 66th in the league.
