Kevin Durant (calf) ruled out for Warriors Friday in Game 4
Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant (right calf strain) will not play in Game 4 of the Finals on Friday versus the Toronto Raptors, head coach Steve Kerr said.
Kerr previously suggested Durant would participate in a scrimmage on Thursday, but that will not be the case. "There was no setback," Kerr clarified. "I was hoping today would be the day he'd get back on the floor. It's not going to be today. It's going to be tomorrow or next couple days." Things are looking increasingly ominous, but Kerr added there's still hope Durant will be able to return before the series is over.
KD was averaging 34.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 1.2 steals, 1.0 blocks, and 2.9 triples in 11 playoff games before the injury.
