Clevland Cavaliers guard J.R. Smith (elbow) will not play on Friday night.
What It Means:
That makes two straight games with Smith on the sidelines to start the season. Rodney Hood will get all the minutes he can handle at shooting guard with Jordan Clarkson seeing decent run behind him against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Smith is projected for 9.8 points and 1.6 threes per game this season.
