Bulls' Derrick Rose returns from ankle injury, nets 17 points
Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose returned from a two-game absence to hit 7-of-20 shots and a 3-pointer for 17 points, four rebounds and six assists in Tuesday's win over the Portland Trail Blazers.
While he didn't set the world on fire, he played fairly well. The most important thing is, Rose appeared fully healthy.
Rose is averaging a career-worst 13.9 points per game with 3.1 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 0.5 steals. His -8.6 nERD ranks 149th in the league. We project Rose to hit those averages in Friday's clash with the Indiana Pacers. Our models see him scoring 15.5 points, grabbing 3.5 boards and handing out 6.2 assists.
