Between the Lines: Week 15 Snap Count Analysis

AFC East

Buffalo Bills - Foster Takes Advantage Again

Quarterbacks: Josh Allen (100%),

Running Backs: Keith Ford (60%), Marcus Murphy (28%)

Wide Receivers: Zay Jones (97%), Robert Foster (84%), Isaiah McKenzie (51%), Deonte Thompson (25%), Ray-Ray McCloud (12%)

Tight End: Charles Clay (60%), Jason Croom (47%)

A week after being on the field for 96% of the Buffalo Bills' snaps, rookie Robert Foster once again saw a big opportunity to shine, and shine he did. On the field for 84% of the team's snaps, Foster caught 4 of 5 passes for 108 yards and the game-winning score. It was his fourth 90-plus yard game in his past five weeks, and he's the WR15 in standard leagues over the past three weeks. Late. Season. Stud.

Miami Dolphins - Ballage Goes Ballin'

Quarterback: Ryan Tannehill (96%)

Running Backs: Kenyan Drake (53%), Kalen Ballage (49%), Frank Gore (13%)

Wide Receivers: Kenny Stills (96%), Danny Amendola (74%), Brice Butler (47%), DeVante Parker (36%)

Tight Ends: Nick O'Leary (47%), Michael Gesicki (47%), Durham Smythe (30%)

Before Week 15, Kalen Ballage hadn't seen the field for more than 15% of the Miami Dolphins' snaps in any given week. He more than tripled that this past week due to an injury to Frank Gore. He didn't take long to take advantage, rumbling for a 75-yard run that briefly gave the Fins hope in the third quarter. His 12 carries and 123 rushing yards led the team, and he'll likely get all the run he can handle this week with Gore likely done for the year.

New England Patriots - Hogan Back in the Mix?

Quarterback: Tom Brady (100%)

Running Backs: James White (40%), Sony Michel (37%), Rex Burkhead (26%)

Wide Receivers: Julian Edelman (94%), Josh Gordon (92%), Chris Hogan (63%)

Tight End: Rob Gronkowski (100%)

Chris Hogan had seen no more than 43% of the New England Patriots' snaps in Weeks 12 to 14. That number spiked to 63% in Week 15, and Hogan came through for the Pats with 2 catches for 68 yards and a 63-yard score. Don't get your hopes up for a repeat, however. He saw just three targets, tying him with two others for fourth on the team.

New York Jets - Robby A-OK

Quarterback: Sam Darnold (100%)

Running Backs: Elijah McGuire (75%), Trenton Cannon (31%)

Wide Receivers: Robby Anderson (95%), Jermaine Kearse (83%), Andre Roberts (39%), Rishard Matthews (17%)

Tight Ends: Chris Herndon (69%), Eric Tomlinson (35%), Jordan Leggett (35%)

Robby Anderson has seen his ups and downs this season. That shouldn't be entirely unexpected for a player on a team with a rookie quarterback, but it's still made him untrustworthy in fantasy. He saw a season=high 95% of snaps this week, however, boding well for high usage at the end of the season. He saw a team-high 11 targets, catching 7 for 96 yards and a score. He could aid fantasy owners again in Week 16 in a plus matchup against the Packers.
