FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Helper: Saturday 4/19/18
Max Scherzer is cruising into his matchup with the Dodgers. Is he the clear-cut top option on the main slate?

We've got 11 games encompassing Saturday's main slate, and as has been the case pretty much all week, this non-stop rain continues to be a nuisance. Will Max Scherzer finally get to pitch this week? Thankfully, even if he's rained out -- again -- pitching is rock solid from top to bottom, so we have plenty of other ways to go.

The hitting side features some familiar faces with the Yankees, Red Sox, Cubs, Braves, Angels, Rangers, and White Sox among the top spots.

Our daily helper is available every day to analyze FanDuel's main slate and help give you a starting point when you're building lineups. Be sure to also incorporate our great tools into your research process. Whether you're looking for daily projections, the latest starting lineups and weather, or batting and pitching heat maps to find the best matchups -- we've got you covered!

On that note, let's highlight some of the top options for today's FanDuel main slate.

Pitchers to Target

High-Priced Pitchers

Max Scherzer ($11,600 on FanDuel): We talked up Max Scherzer in this exact same spot yesterday, so it won't shock you that he's still the top overall play on Saturday. That's what happens when you're rolling with a 2.11 SIERA, 40.4% strikeout rate, and 5.8% walk rate. He's hit double-digit strikeouts in six of his nine starts, and has fallen below 47 FanDuel points once all season. At this point, he's practically a must-start in cash games on days he pitches. The only thing that might save the Los Angeles Dodgers is if rain pushes back Scherzer's start yet again.
