Daily Fantasy Baseball: Positive Batted-Ball Regression Candidates for Week 3
Josh Donaldson's batted-ball profile says he's locked in despite his mediocre results. Which other hitters should be ready to bust out in DFS in Week 3?

Josh Donaldson, 3B, Atlanta Braves

We're still waiting for Josh Donaldson to shake off the rust from his injury-riddled 2018. The newly-minted Atlanta Braves' slugger hasn't exactly soared out of the gate, with a meager .472 slugging percentage thanks to just two long balls across 65 plate appearances.

Donaldson has otherwise looked every bit the professional hitter, working a 18.5% walk rate while posting ultra-low marks in terms of swinging strikes and reaches outside of the zone. With an eye-popping 59.0% hard-hit rate and a minuscule 7.7% soft-contact rate, Donaldson looks to be on the verge of breaking through, provided he can stay on the field.

Daily players can look to Donaldson as a big stick at mid-market price in Week 3, particularly when he draws a beatable Arizona staff at home to start the week.
