3 FanDuel Kickers to Target in Week 4
Costing just the minimum salary, Jason Myers has a great matchup on tap against the New York Jets. Which other kickers are we looking at in Week 4 in daily fantasy football?

Kickers. Love 'em or hate 'em, they are a part of the game. Even in fantasy football.

While you may be tempted to do so, don't leave the position for last when building your FanDuel lineups. Just like you do with the rest of your roster, maximize your squad's potential by spending the extra minute and finding out the best options out there at kicker.

It's time to stop "punting" the spot and start giving the lonesome kicker, the attention he deserves.

The following are the top-three kickers we are targeting in Week 4.

Matt Bryant, Atlanta Falcons

FanDuel Price: $5,000

Most weeks, we try to find lower priced options at kicker, but with the way Matt Bryant has been booting it, we couldn't pass him up -- especially with just a great matchup.

Though three games, Bryant has averaged 13.3 FanDuel points per game, a close second to Ryan Succop for the NFL lead. The prolific nature of the Atlanta Falcons offense -- fifth in the NFL with 29.0 points per game -- has allowed plenty of shots at the uprights for the 42-year-old, who has not missed a kick yet. Bryant has nailed all 17 attempts -- 8 field goals, 9 extra points -- including 2 from 50-plus yards. This Sunday, the good times should continue to roll versus the Buffalo Bills.

Atlanta enters Week 4 as 8.0-point favorites and have the second-highest implied point total (28.25). The Bills have allowed six field goal attempts in each of the last two weeks, as well. Add it up, and we couldn't ask for a kicker in a better spot than Bryant this.

Blair Walsh, Seattle Seahawks

FanDuel Price: $4,800

Blair Walsh hasn't gotten a ton of opportunities to rack up points -- he's attempted just five field goals in three games -- but we can blame the Seattle Seahawks' shaky offense for that. However, after they showed signs of life late in the loss to the Tennessee Titans last week, we're back on board with the former Minnesota Viking this week with a matchup with the Indianapolis Colts looming.

The Seahawks are massive 13.0-point favorites at CenturyLink Field, and with an over/under of 41.5 points, Seattle ends up with an implied point total of 27.25, the third-highest on Sunday. Indy's defense also hasn't been too stingy with the points, as they rank 31st in the NFL by allowing 30.0 per game.

The Colts have been friendly to kickers, giving up 10.7 FanDuel points per game to opponents. Only the Vikings and New York Giants have allowed more.

Jason Myers, Jacksonville Jaguars

FanDuel Price: $4,500

While using Bryant and Walsh will force you to make sacrifices elsewhere on your roster, Jason Myers and his minimum salary will allow you to splurge at other positions and still get value for at kicker.

Through three weeks, the Jacksonville Jaguars' offense -- fourth in the NFL with 29.7 points per game -- has surprisingly provided Myers will plenty of opportunities. The third-year pro has attempted the third-most field goals (eight) and fifth-most extra points (nine) while averaging 10.7 FanDuel points per game, which ranks him fifth in the league.

We like to target kickers that end up on the winning side of the field, and with the New York Jets on tap in Week 4, the 2-1 Jaguars are lined up as the favorite this week. Vegas currently has the Jets as 3.5-point underdogs, while our models agree, giving Jacksonville a 59.4% win probability.
