3 FanDuel Defenses to Target in Week 3
With the struggling Bills coming to town on Sunday, the Vikings' defense is an easy choice. Who else are we looking at for DFS in Week 3?

Minnesota Vikings

FanDuel Price: $4,900
numberFire Projection: 10.8 FanDuel points

For those looking for a sure thing on defense in Week 3, look no further than the Minnesota Vikings.

While they carry the second-highest price tag, Minnesota also owns our highest-projected total of the week. While they have proven themselves to be an elite unit in the NFL -- fifth in sacks (7) and interceptions (5) through two games -- the Vikes will be a popular option this week thanks to a cake matchup with the Buffalo Bills.

According to Vegas, the Vikings are the closest to a sure thing as you can get in Week 3 as they are 17.0-point favorites over the Bills. Buffalo's implied point total of just 12.0 points is the lowest we have seen this season. It's wholly justified as well too. Buffalo ranks 31st in total yards (223.0) and points scored per game (11.5). They have also allowed the second-most sacks (11) while turning the ball over four times. Lousy QB play has permitted Bills' opponents to average 13.5 FanDuel points against them, the second-most in the NFL.

Quarterback Josh Allen has been an improvement over Nathan Peterman, but the rookie has still struggled mightily to start his career. His 50.0% completion percentage is the lowest of any passer with at least 20 attempts this year. His interception percentage (4.2%) ranks him 28th out of those same 32 quarterbacks.

With the Bills' best offensive player -- LeSean McCoy -- possibly sitting out, the Vikings seem like a no-brainer in Week 3.
