Week 15 Game Scripts to Target in Daily Fantasy Football

Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns

Over/Under: 40.0

Ravens Implied Team Total: 23.50

Browns Implied Team Total: 16.50

Were you expecting this to be the big New England Patriots-Pittsburgh Steelers showdown? If you were, I don't blame you. That contest has game-of-the-week potential, but you already know to start all those players, and more importantly than that, they don't come cheap.

This game, however, is a different story.

Both the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns are coming off crushing defeats. The Ravens playoff hopes took a bit of a hit after a 39-38 loss to the Steelers, while the Browns came up just short in their quest to win their first game of the season, dropping a 27-21 overtime decision to the Green Bay Packers. This may not be a titanic clash, but there are some solid plays in this contest.

Joe Flacco, QB, Baltimore Ravens

FanDuel Price: $6,800

Don't look now, but Joe Flacco is on a bit of a roll, as the veteran has thrown for exactly 269 yards and 2 touchdowns in back-to-back starts. The Ravens offense had been dreadful for much of the season but has apparently turned a corner. Yes indeed, it's clear that Joe Cool is back in school:

Sorry about that. I love Snoopy, but I digress.

The Ravens' offense has ignited in recent weeks, as Flacco and company have posted a combined 82 points over their last two contests, and there's no reason to assume that will change against a Browns defense currently allowing 19.1 FanDuel points per game (sixth-most) to opposing quarterbacks.

Flacco is currently firing on all cylinders and can be started for QB19 cost in a premium matchup as a 7.0-point favorite. There's a great deal of value in the former Super Bowl champion this week.

Alex Collins, RB, Baltimore Ravens

FanDuel Price: $6,600

The Browns' defense had been stingy against the run earlier in the season, but it has softened considerably as they have allowed at least 100 total yards to each of Leonard Fournette, Joe Mixon, Melvin Gordon, and Jamaal Williams over the last four games. This week, they are charged with stopping one of the hottest running backs in the NFL -- Alex Collins.

Over his last two starts, Collins has rushed for 195 yards and 2 touchdowns while racking up 4 receptions for an additional 96 yards. The sophomore has found the end zone five times over his last four contests, has seen 17 or more touches during that same span, and is averaging an incredible 5.1 yards per carry on the season.

There is no question that Collins has emerged as the Ravens' feature back, and he has been an elite performer in recent weeks. This could be the latest in a string of excellent performances, and you can have him in your lineup for RB12 cost.

Others to Consider

The Ravens' defense has been great for much of the season, but it is missing Jimmy Smith and just surrendered 11 catches and 213 receiving yards to Antonio Brown. It's unlikely that Josh Gordon ($7,500) will come anywhere near those totals, but he could be in for a decent showing. However, his WR7 price tag might be a little expensive.

Ironically, Corey Coleman ($5,900) is quite the value, considering he actually outperformed Gordon with 5 catches for 62 yards and a score a week ago and has seen fewer than six targets in only one game this season.

Both Isaiah Crowell ($6,000) and Duke Johnson ($6,000) performed well against the Packers last weekend, but the Ravens represent a much stiffer test. Neither back makes for a particularly appealing play in Week 15.
