Fantasy Football: 3 Players You Can Drop After Week 12

Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Buffalo Bills

Yahoo Ownership: 85%

Kelvin Benjamin has always been a polarizing player in the fantasy football community. In 2014, he became one of only 15 rookie receivers since the NFL merger in 1970 to eclipse 1,000 receiving yards, while finishing as the WR17 in standard leagues.

But the knock on Benjamin has been that his talent level wasn't befitting of a number-one receiver given his inefficiencies. However, to give credit where it's due, Benjamin's actually been pretty good when on the field this season.

His 62.07% catch rate is far higher than the 53.85% catch rate he put up in 2016. His 0.83 Reception Buffalo Bills just isn't going to be enough for you to rely on for a playoff push. In his one full game with the Bills, he did accumulate six targets, but Buffalo currently sport the sixth-lowest pass-to-run ratio (1.16:1.00) in the league. Benjamin is also hurt by the return of Charles Clay, who has consistently been Tyrod Taylor's favorite non-LeSean McCoy target, so Benjamin's target share will likely dwindle further.

Moreover, we're not even sure when he'll even be able to get back on the field, with news coming on Monday that he Corey Coleman.
