3 Daily Fantasy Football Players to Avoid in Week 4
Jameis Winston has an ugly matchup this week. Who else should you avoid on FanDuel?

The weeks are disappearing too fast. The Miami Dolphins and Cincinnati Bengals have already played four games and have completed 25 percent of their seasons. With 14 weeks of regular season daily fantasy football remaining, let's get right to it.

As always, we'll be using our Net Expected Points (NEP) metric to help identify a quarterback, a running back, and a wide receiver who are in bad spots for Week 4.

Last week, the three players who landed on this list were Ben Roethlisberger, Melvin Gordon, and Demaryius Thomas.

Big Ben, priced at $8,400 on FanDuel was brutal. He passed for 257 yards and no touchdowns and scored 8 fantasy points.

The Melvin fade (which admittedly made me slightly queasy) worked out well. He was owned at over 35 percent in FanDuel tournaments and scored just 15.8 points.

The Demaryius suggestion was by far the worst of the bunch. Thomas has his best game of the 2016 season and caught 6 of 7 targets for 100 yards and a touchdown. He ended up with 17.0 FanDuel points.

In DFS, the best players aren't always the best plays for a particular week. Salaries, matchups, and projected ownership all need to be considered when building lineups. With that said, here are three players you should keep on the bench for FanDuel's Sunday Main Slate in Week 4 of the NFL season.
