College Football Daily Fantasy Helper: Saturday 11/13/21
Jaylen Warren is set up for a ceiling game on Saturday against TCU's reeling defense. Who else should we consider targeting?

Week 11 of college football is here! FanDuel's college football DFS main slate on Saturday includes 14 games.

In case you're unfamiliar with how it works, you can check out the rules and scoring on FanDuel, where you can hit the lobby each week to see the full array of slates and contests being offered.

As for the basics, your roster consists of a quarterback slot, two running backs, three wide receivers (which also includes tight ends), and one "Super FLEX". In the Super FLEX spot, you can insert one player from any position, including quarterbacks.

Here, our goal is to help you field a roster full of fantasy goodness, and in true numberFire fashion, we'll use our DFS projections, game projections, and market share report to tackle as many slates as possible in the lead-up to the College Football Playoff. In this piece, we are breaking down Saturday's main slate, which locks at 12:00 p.m. EST.

Let's look at which players are in great spots as well as identify some players with low salaries who will allow you to roster the high-salary players.

Quarterbacks

Caleb Williams ($11,800) – Caleb Williams has been phenomenal since seizing the starting quarterback position at Oklahoma. The dynamic freshman has accounted for an eye-opening 17 total touchdowns over the last four games. Additionally, he is averaging 271.3 passing yards per game during that time span. If that is not impressive enough, Williams has also recorded 227 rushing yards over the last four games. The combination of floor and ceiling on Williams is nearly un-matched in college football.

CJ Stroud, Ohio State ($10,400) – Stroud is flat-out dominating opposing Big Ten defenses this season. The freshman gunslinger is averaging 334.3 passing and 3.5 touchdown passes through five conference games. Furthermore, we could see the Ohio State Buckeyes set a season high in plays this week. They face off with the fast-paced Purdue Boilermakers offense. Purdue ranks eighth nationally in offensive plays per game (79.1). Additionally, Purdue has notably defeated two top three ranked teams this season. They should be able to keep the game competitive which further enhances Stroud's appeal on Saturday.

Jordan Travis, Florida State ($6,800) – Travis is expected to suit up for this week's rival matchup with the Miami (FL) Hurricanes. He missed last week's game with the flu. While he hasn't cleared 200 passing yards in any single game this season, we're not rostering the Florida State Seminoles signal caller for his passing ability. The dual threat quarterback is one of the nation's most dynamic runners. The sophomore has tallied 308 rushing yards and three touchdowns over the last four games. Travis should have no problem stuffing the stat sheet against the Hurricanes. Miami is ranked 85th nationally in total defense. The Hurricanes defense is allowing 405.2 yards per game to opposing offenses.

Zach Calzada, Texas A&M ($6,400) – There is mild injury concern with Calzada as he sustained an injury left shoulder (non-throwing shoulder) in last week's game. However, he was able to return to that game after missing some action so I'm expecting him to suit up on Saturday. The sophomore has seven touchdown passes over the last four games. Calzada is an intriguing salary-saving option at quarterback. The Texas A&M Aggies opponent, the Mississippi Rebels, are vulnerable via the air. The Rebels are allowing 237.1 passing yards per game (79th nationally) including 7.63 yards per pass attempt.

Others to Consider:
Brennan Armstrong ($10,800), Devin Leary ($10,000), Tyler Van Dyke ($9,700), Matt Corral ($9,500), KJ Jefferson ($9,400), Payton Thorne ($8,900), Spencer Sanders ($8,800), Brock Purdy ($8,800), Brock Purdy ($8,700), Max Johnson ($8,000), Taulia Tagovailoa ($7,700), Aiden O'Connell ($7,000)

Running Backs

Breece Hall, Iowa State ($10,700) – Hall provides a solid floor as he has found the end zone in every game this season. The star running back has 1,121 rushing yards, 221 receiving yards (28 receptions), and 15 total touchdowns through eight games. He is in a great spot this week as the Iowa State Cyclones travel to Texas Tech. The Red Raiders run defense ranks an unimposing 56th nationally in rushing yards allowed per game. They are allowing 141.7 rushing yards per game and have surrendered 14 rushing touchdowns through nine games. Kenneth Walker III ($10,500) makes for a solid tournament pivot off Hall or a great pairing if you're spending up on running back this week.

Jaylen Warren, Oklahoma State ($8,400) – This could be a monster week for the Oklahoma State Cowboys senior running back. Warren gets a crack at the Texas Christian Horned Frogs' atrocious run defense. The Horned Frogs are allowing 201.6 rushing yards per game (115th nationally). Additionally, they have allowed an eye-opening 20 rushing touchdowns through nine games. I suspect Warren will be popular despite rushing for less than 100 yards in three straight games. He is averaging 21.2 carries per game this season.

Isaiah Spiller, Texas A&M ($8,300) – Spiller could fly under the DFS radar this week since this slate is loaded with several strong running backs with salaries over $9,000. The junior has eclipsed 100 rushing yards in three straight games. He has also seen his workload increase as of late. Over the last three games, Spiller is averaging 19.7 carries per game. That is up significantly from the 14.2 carries he averaged over the Aggies' first six games this season. Additionally, he is in a pristine spot this week. Ole Miss is allowing 194.3 rushing yards per game which ranks 107th nationally. Furthermore, they have been slammed for 20 rushing touchdowns through nine games.

Kennedy Brooks, Oklahoma ($7,900) – Brooks and the Sooners running game took a back seat while the Oklahoma passing game destroyed Texas Tech last week. Despite minimal production last week, Brooks maintained his RB1 status over Eric Gray. Brooks out-snapped Gray 29 to 21 in last week's 52-21 win. I look Brooks to bounce back this week as this week's game with Baylor should be more competitive. Brooks is averaging 19.25 carries and 121 rushing yards over the last four games. He has found the end zone five times during that time span. His ceiling is worth chasing this week at his mid-tier salary.

He also provides leverage off of quarterback Caleb Williams. I believe Williams will be very chalky especially after last week's performance. Abram Smith ($8,000) is an interesting salary-saving tournament pivot. He burned a lot of DFS players in a great spot last week. If Baylor can manage to keep the close, Smith should be in line for a monster workload. Leddie Brown ($8,000) has been good but not great in recent games. That should help keep his popularity in check this week. He's in a great spot against the Kansas State Wildcats

Others to Consider:
Kyren Williams ($9,700), Deuce Vaughn ($9,600), TreVeyeon Henderson ($9,500), Jaylan Knight ($9,200), Hassan Haskins ($8,200), Tyrion Davis-Price ($7,200), Devon Achane ($6,700), Ricky Person Jr. ($6,600), Zonovan Knight ($6,000)

Wide Receivers

Treylon Burks, Arkansas ($8,800) – Burks ranks second on this slate in target share (32.5%) and receiving yards share (41.6%) per the College Football Market Share Report for Week 11. This week's matchup with the Louisiana State Tigers is an advantageous spot for Burks. The Tigers rank 98th nationally in passing yards allowed (249.1) per game. They have been throttled for 20 touchdown passes through nine games. Moreover, Burks has eight touchdown receptions over the last seven games.

David Bell, Purdue ($8,700) – The junior is heavily targeted in the Boilermakers' pass-heavy offense. Bell is averaging an insane 12.2 targets over the last six games. He is clearly the apple of quarterback Aiden O'Connell's eye. The Boilermakers' top playmaker has an incredible six-plus receptions in every game this season. He also ranks fourth nationally with an average of 125.4 receiving yards per game.

Rakim Jarrett, Maryland ($6,500) – Jarrett is blessed with track-star speed. He is averaging an impressive five receptions per game over the last three games. He seems significantly under-salaried and DFS players may shy away from Jarrett due to the matchup with the highly ranked Michigan State. Upon further review, Michigan State is allowing a ton of yardage in the passing game. The Spartans are LAST nationally in passing yards allowed per game (326.7). Combine that with Maryland's non-existent run game (ranked 103rd nationally in rushing offense), and Jarrett should have plenty of opportunities.

Michael Mayer, Notre Dame ($6,300) – The ultra talented tight end has tallied four-plus receptions in five straight games. He leads the Notre Dame Fighting Irish with a 22.8% target share this season. I think we may see a signature performance from the nation's best tight end this week. Notre Dame's opponent, the Virginia Cavaliers, have an exploitable pass defense. The Cavaliers rank 94th nationally in passing yards allowed (247.1) per game. Furthermore, they have allowed 17 touchdown passes through nine games.

Others to Consider:
Chris Olave ($9,100), Jacquarri Roberson ($9,000), Jahan Dotson ($8,900), Charleston Rambo ($8,700), Garrett Wilson ($8,600), Dontayvion Wicks ($8,500), Xavier Hutchinson ($8,500), Jayden Reed ($8,300), Makai Polk ($8,200), Tyquan Thornton ($8,000), Jaxon Smith-Njigba ($7,800), Keytaon Thompson ($7,700), Emeka Emezie ($6,800), Ainis Smith ($6,700), Charlie Kolar ($6,500), Devin Carter ($6,400), Key'Shawn Smith ($6,400), Cornelius Johnson ($6,000), Brian Thomas Jr. ($5,600), Rashaun Henry ($5,600), Braden Lenzy ($5,300)
