NBA Daily Fantasy Helper: Saturday 4/21/18
Anthony Davis has shredded the Blazers, and he's tough to pass on despite a massive price tag. Who else should you target in NBA DFS?

If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and -- depending on injury news -- even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.

With so much changing so quickly, we're here with plenty of tools to help you out. We have daily projections, a matchup heat map, a lineup optimizer, and a ton of other great resources to help give you an edge.

We'll also be coming at you with this primer every day, breaking down a few of the day's top plays at each price point.

Let's take a look at who you should target on today's main slate, which starts at 2:30 p.m. EST and contains all four playoff games.

Best of the Best

Anthony Davis (FanDuel Price: $12,700) - Even with his astronomical price tag, Davis will be tough to fade as his ceiling is by far the highest of anyone playing on Saturday. The New Orleans Pelicans' big man has seemingly had his way with the Portland Trail Blazers' frontcourt in the first round as AD has averaged 28.3 points, 12.3 rebounds, 2.3 steals, and 2.7 blocks per game. His full stat lines have produced monster DFS performances in the playoffs as he's put up 68.3, 44.9 and 59.2 FanDuel points across the first three games. Davis is averaging just a shade under 1.5 FanDuel points per minute in the postseason, and he is set for another big game as the Pels try to wrap up the series. New Orleans owns the highest implied total of the slate, and Davis will be front and center with his 30.5% usage rate this postseason.
