NBA Daily Fantasy Helper: Sunday 11/5/17
Karl-Anthony Towns is coming off a monster game and has a favorable matchup tonight against the Hornets. Which other players should you be targeting in NBA DFS?

If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and -- depending on injury news -- even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.

With so much changing so quickly, we're here with plenty of tools to help you out. We have daily projections, a matchup heat map, a lineup optimizer, and a ton of other great resources to help give you an edge.

We'll also be coming at you with this primer every day, breaking down a few of the day's top plays at each price point.

Let's take a look at who you should target on today's main slate, which starts at 6 p.m. EST.

Best of the Best

Karl-Anthony Towns (FanDuel Price: $9,800) - Thanks to an awful 13.0-FanDuel-point, foul-plagued performance on Wednesday, the usually consistent Towns -- who is averaging a double-double -- is a bargain at under $10,000 on Sunday. He is coming off a dominant 31-point, 12-rebound night on Saturday in which he collected 52.4 FanDuel points -- his third game in the last week with at least 47.9 fantasy points. In his nine games played this season, the Minnesota Timberwolves' center has scored at least 41 points in seven of them. Today he gets to face a Charlotte Hornets squad that is projected to allow the T-Wolves to score 112.25 points, the highest implied total of the main slate.
