FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Helper: Monday 7/23/18
Facing one of the worst pitchers in the league, Mike Trout offers big-time upside. Who else draws a strong matchup on Monday's slate?

A trio of similarly-priced aces lead the way on Monday's 13-game slate, and while it will be hard to pivot off them, they're hardly alone if you want to drop down in tournaments. The options on offense don't disappoint, either, with the Cleveland Indians in yet another enticing spot, along with the Los Angeles Angels, Oakland Athletics, and Texas Rangers.

Our daily helper is available every day to analyze FanDuel's main slate and help give you a starting point when you're building lineups. Be sure to also incorporate our great tools into your research process. Whether you're looking for daily projections, the latest starting lineups and weather, or batting and pitching heat maps to find the best matchups -- we've got you covered! And don't forget to take a listen to The Solo Shot podcast with Jim Sannes, who breaks down the MLB daily fantasy slate each day.

On that note, let's highlight some of the top options for today's FanDuel main slate.

Pitchers to Target

High-Priced Pitchers

Jacob deGrom ($11,500 on FanDuel): Luis Severino and Corey Kluber are awesome choices, as always, but your guy in cash games should be Jacob deGrom, who will enjoy the best matchup of the group as he takes on the San Diego Padres. After all, the Padres have posted a mere 80 wRC+ and 25.9% strikeout rate against right-handers this season. Meanwhile, our man deGrom boasts some of the best numbers on the slate, owning a 2.94 SIERA, 30.7% strikeout rate, 6.2% walk rate, and 23.3% soft-hit rate. It sets up nicely for one of the year's best pitchers, and he's tonight's top overall play.
