Daily Fantasy Baseball: Positive Batted-Ball Regression Candidates for Week 26
Cody Bellinger has been left out of the Dodgers' recent hot streak, but his advanced statistics indicate he should join the party in Week 26.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have been the hottest offense in the National League in September (128 wRC+), but up-and-down slugger Cody Bellinger hasn't tasted the fruit of his team's productivity, slashing a middling .241/.353./414 across the month.

Yet Bellinger's advanced stats indicate that he's stroking the ball with authority over that span. The hulking lefty slugger has terrific contact quality splits across the month, with 57.5% hard hits, just 7.5% soft hits, and 22.5% line drives.

An outsized 50% groundball rate might explain the 23-year-old's lack of extra-base power, but if Bellinger can get under the ball more consistently, he could be in for a huge final week, particularly against soft righties like Matt Andriese, Matt Koch, and Dereck Rodriguez.

With a FanDuel salary below $4,000, Bellinger looks like a reasonable ticket to some prime real estate at the heart of a deadly lineup.
