4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 9/13/18
Mitch Moreland offers big upside as Boston takes on Sam Gaviglio and the Jays. What other low-priced bats should you target?

Jake Cave, OF, Minnesota Twins

Price: $2,500

For cheaper options in the value spectrum, we go to the Minnesota Twins, whose 4.84 implied total is the third-best on the main slate as they take on righty Heath Fillmyer and the Kansas City Royals.

Fillmyer has pitched 14 games in his rookie campaign, struggling to the tune of a brutal 5.28 SIERA, with his 11.1% walk rate pushing close to his 14.1% strikeout rate. These struggles haven't been a surprise, though, as his 13 Triple-A starts in 2018 saw him post a 15.4% strikeout and 9.2% walk rate, with an egregious 5.48 xFIP.

Jake Cave isn't a high-floor hitter, with only a .329 wOBA and 32.2% strikeout rate in his rookie season, but his .212 ISO comes on a 35.8% hard-hit rate and 9.5% soft-hit rate, leaving him offering big upside.
