Mitch Moreland offers big upside as Boston takes on Sam Gaviglio and the Jays. What other low-priced bats should you target?

Ramon Laureano, OF, Oakland Athletics

Price: $3,000

Even in a righty-righty matchup, there's no reason that Ramon Laureano should continue to be this cheap.

He's hitting leadoff for the high-powered Oakland Athletics, which is an especially valuable spot to be in tonight. They boast the day's second-highest implied total (5.33) as they take on Dylan Bundy and the Baltimore Orioles.

Bundy has a middling 4.06 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) on the season, and thanks to a 36.2% hard-hit rate and 47.0% fly-ball rate, his 2.22 home runs per nine are the most among qualifying pitchers. The O's relievers are also tied for the worst group xFIP (4.66) in the Majors.

Laureano was outstanding in 284 Triple-A plate appearances this year, racking up a .394 wOBA and .228 ISO. He has continued to impress at the Major League level (113 plate appearances), with a .389 wOBA and .253 ISO. Those aren't the numbers we expect to see out of someone priced as a value play, especially when they're at the top of the order for one of the day's most well-positioned offenses.
