3 Daily Fantasy Baseball Players to Avoid on 9/5/18
Coming off two big home runs, Marcell Ozuna could be a popular play, but he has a tough matchup tonight. What other players should we look to avoid?

Marcell Ozuna, OF, St. Louis Cardinals

FanDuel Price: $2,900

The St. Louis Cardinals are trying to keep pace in both the NL Central and NL Wild Card races, and to do so, they'll need Marcell Ozuna to provide some pop at the dish.

Unfortunately for Ozuna, the Birds face one of the hottest pitchers in baseball in righty Tanner Roark. Dating back to July 25th, spanning 8 starts and 50 2/3 innings, Roark owns a microscopic 2.13 ERA, and his slightly higher 3.51 FIP has been built on a 2.6% walk rate and 25.7% hard-hit rate.

While Ozuna has been strong in 2018 with the platoon advantage, he has struggled against same-sided arms, posting a mediocre .302 wOBA and .131 isolated power (ISO). All of this makes the outfielder one to avoid.
