Fantasy Baseball: 5 Pitchers to Stream in Week 16
Volatile youngster Domingo German looks to flash his considerable upside against the Yankees' crosstown rivals in Week 16.

Nick Pivetta, Philadelphia Phillies

Start: July 22nd vs. San Diego Padres
ESPN ownership: 32.3%

The Washington Nationals sure have Nick Pivetta's number. The Nats take credit for 15 of the 49 earned runs that the Philadelphia Phillies righty has surrendered this season, those runs coming across 3 starts spanning a scant 7.2 total innings. You'd have to imagine that fantasy owners -- outside of the deepest of leagues -- kept Pivetta on the bench for those starts, leaving his underwhelming 4.58 ERA to sting quite a bit less.

Thankfully, there are no Nats on the horizon for Pivetta this weekend. Instead, the 25-year-old draws a San Diego squad that carries a league-worst .105 isolated slugging (ISO) against righties over the past 30 days.

Pivetta's been much better this year -- in terms of skills (3.75 FIP, 27.4% strikeouts) -- than his surface numbers let on, and he has a nice opportunity to reward discerning streamers in this plus matchup.
