3 MLB FanDuel Studs to Target on 4/17/18
Justin Upton excels against lefties, and he's taking on David Price, who is giving up gobs of hard contact this season. Which other high-priced players should be on your radar on Tuesday?

Corey Kluber, P, Cleveland Indians

Price: $11,400

Corey Kluber has opened the season doing typical Corey Kluber things. Among 90 qualifying starting pitchers, his 2.34 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) and 33.3% strikeout rate both rank seventh. These marks follow a 2017 campaign that saw him rank second in SIERA (2.68) and third in strikeout rate (34.1%) among 56 qualifying starters.

He hasn't posted fewer than 37.0 FanDuel points in any of his three starts this season, and he exploded for 73.0 points in his last outing. His 13 strikeouts in that game were the second-most any pitcher has notched in a game so far in 2018.

The Minnesota Twins rank 12th in wRC+ against right-handed pitching to start the season, so this isn't a gimme matchup for Kluber, but they also strike out at a top-10 rate (24.9%) against righties.

The Twins' 3.22 implied total is also the slate's lowest, while Cleveland is the biggest favorite (-183 moneyline). Kluber stands out as the day's top arm in all formats.
