3 MLB FanDuel Studs to Target on 3/30/18
After a solid showing on Opening Day, Kris Bryant finds himself in a great spot on Friday. What other high-priced players should be on your radar in daily fantasy baseball?

Robbie Ray, P, Arizona Diamondbacks

Price: $9,500

Robbie Ray took a serious step into ace territory in 2017, finishing with a 2.89 ERA and 3.53 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA). He really shined from a fantasy standpoint, ranking fourth among qualifying starters with a 32.8% strikeout rate, as well as fifth with a 14.2% swinging-strike rate. His four games with 12-plus strikeouts were also the third-most in the majors a year ago.

Playing in a high-altitude, hitter-friendly park in Arizona tended to bring Ray's fantasy value down a bit, but with the addition of a humidor to store baseballs at Chase Field this season, it is expected to be a much more pitcher-friendly ballpark moving forward.

Ray's opponent, the Colorado Rockies, ranked below average with a wRC+ of 90 when on the road against southpaws last year. This year, they are rolling out a very similar lineup to the one that struck out at a top-10 rate against lefties in 2017. For that reason, numberFire's models project Ray for the most strikeouts and the highest fantasy score among pitchers on today's main slate.
