3 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 9/19/17
Mikie Mahtook and the Tigers may be out of a pennant race, but he's in a great spot tonight. Who else profiles as a solid sleeper play?

Luiz Gohara, SP, Atlanta Braves

FanDuel Price: $6,200

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

On tonight's full slate, there are a pile of awesome pitching options. The heftiest arms, which should dominate ownership, include Max Scherzer, Yu Darvish, Aaron Nola, Chris Archer, and Zack Godley.

Young hurler Luiz Gohara, who was recently called up when rosters expanded for the Atlanta Braves, could go ignored.

Why You Should Use Him:

A quick glance at Gohara's overall numbers may leave you scratching your head a bit -- in two starts spanning 10 innings, Gohara's posted a 6.30 ERA with a 9.5% walk rate.

But call it a case of rookie jitters, as Gohara was brilliant in his second start, throwing six innings and allowing a single earned run while whiffing 6 against the Washington Nationals.

Gohara flashed strikeout upside in the minors, and has shown the same so far in The Show, where he has struck out 28.6% of hitters and compiled a tasty 14.9% swinging-strike rate.

For a pivot off of those high-priced aces, check out the young lefty.
