4 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 8/22/17
Evan Longoria has a good shot at busting out of his August slump against Chris Rowley of the Toronto Blue Jays. Who else could make for a strong sleeper play?

Lance Lynn, SP, St. Louis Cardinals

FanDuel Price: $8,000

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

There are some monster arms on today's slate that should be heavily owned, including Carlos Carrasco and Chris Archer, along with Patrick Corbin, who's been dominant lately and has seen his price steadily rise.

One overlooked option is going to be Lance Lynn of the St. Louis Cardinals, who's 20.2% strikeout rate is fairly average compared to some of the other options available this evening.

Why You Should Use Him:

While those strikeouts certainly aren't among the league leaders, Lynn's got a couple of major tailwinds at his back tonight.

First, he's logged 15 quality starts out of 24 turns this season, and he's been a fantastic at home -- in 65 1/3 innings pitched, the right-hander has recorded a 2.62 ERA and allowed a minute 23.3% hard-contact rate.

Add all of that into a matchup with a scuffling San Diego Padres offense that's posted a .299 team wOBA (29th), and you've got a mid-ranged starter primed for a big night.
