4 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 6/2/17
Armed with a great matchup at home against Mike Foltynewicz, Scott Schebler makes for a great play. Who else could make for a strong sleeper play?

German Marquez, SP, Colorado Rockies

FanDuel Price: $8,800

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

It's the time of week where aces take the bump -- Clayton Kershaw, Yu Darvish, Stephen Strasburg, Dallas Keuchel, and Michael Fulmer are all high-priced options ($9,500 or higher) who will be in action tonight.

One option that has been slowly gaining momentum but still flies under the radar is Colorado Rockies starter German Marquez. With an average 4.39 SIERA and these expensive options available, Marquez still should be a bit sneaky on today's slate.

Why You Should Use Him:

The 22-year-old is certainly showing some promise in 2017 -- prior to this season, he had only hurled 20 2/3 innings at the major league level -- racking up a 19.7% strikeout rate, plus he's allowed just two earned runs in five of his seven starts.

The opponent is what's of particular interest for Marquez -- he'll face a San Diego Padres offense that's dreadful against righties. The Padres rank 27th in team wOBA (.293) and strike out the second most in the league (25.4%).

With an implied team total of only 3.65 runs for the Padres, Marquez could be in line for a big day.
