5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 5/11/17
Jonathan Lucroy has nice upside with the Rangers sporting a 4.82 implied total against Clayton Richard and the Padres. Who else should you target for big-time daily fantasy baseball value on Thursday?

Jonathan Lucroy, C, Texas Rangers

FanDuel Price: $2,700

The Texas Rangers are one of the top offenses to target on Thursday, with their 4.82 implied total being the highest among non-Coors Field teams as they take on Clayton Richard and the San Diego Padres.

Richard owns a shaky 4.40 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) over his career, having only finished with a mark better than 4.00 in one of his eight seasons. He has allowed a massive .418 wOBA to the 131 right-handed hitters he has faced this season, getting tagged for a 36.6% hard-hit rate and sporting a 4.36 xFIP.

Jonathan Lucroy's start hasn't been anything to write home about, but he has done some solid work against southpaws so far (albeit over a small 21-plate-appearance sample size), with a .384 wOBA. He posted a strong 43.2% hard-hit rate against left-handed pitching in 2016, and he should be able to take advantage of this favorable matchup.
