Even though it hasn't been a great start to the season by his usual standards, Yu Darvish is still sporting a solid 25.6% strikeout rate. With strikeout rates north of 30.0% and in each of his last three seasons and a 12.0% swinging-strike rate over his career, there's no real reason to worry about Darvish's ability to fan batters.

He brings that into a terrific matchup against a San Diego Padres team that has posted the second-highest strikeout rate in the majors against right-handed pitching.

The Texas Rangers are the biggest favorites on the slate (-195 money line), and with elite strikeout potential, Darvish offers both a great floor and huge ceiling.
