Jamie Vardy ($12,000) is the most expensive player on the slate, sitting $1000 more expensive than Salomon Rondon. The only two current expected starters at forward under the normal $9,000 threshold are Chicharito ($8,500) and Dwight McNeil ($7,500), but neither will be profiled in this post. McNeil has produced recently, but Burnley is on a three-game losing streak. Chicharito has appeal simply from playing against Huddersfield.
Three defenders, Fabian Schar, Nathan Ake, and Ben Chilwell, share the top salary of $7,000. There are only 11 defenders at or above $6,000. There are two keepers at or above that threshold with West Ham's Lukasz Fabianski ($6,500) at the top.
