New York Jets rookie quarterback Sam Darnold completed 8-of-11 passes for 62 yards and an interception in the team's second preseason game on Thursday.
The interception was caused by Darnold forcing the ball into double coverage on fourth down. He also took a pair of sacks, although the offensive line didn't do much to help. It wasn't pretty but barring a disastrous outing in the third preseason game, Darnold remains the favorite to start for the Jets in Week 1.
numberFire's models currently expect Darnold to be the Jets' third-string quarterback this season.
