New York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold will open training camp as the third-string quarterback.
This should come as no surprise. Coach Todd Bowles will give the third-overall pick in this year's draft a chance to compete for the starting job, but he'll have to get past Josh McCown and Teddy Bridgewater first.
