New York Jets quarterback Bryce Petty will start against the New Orleans Saints in Week 15.
Josh McCown is out for the season with a broken left hand, so Petty will take over under center for the Jets while Christian Hackenberg moves up to number-two on the depth chart. The 2015 fourth-rounder was pretty miserable in relief on Sunday and this move will be a downgrade for the offense as a whole.
Petty completed 2-of-9 passes for 14 yards in relief on Sunday, mustering 1.3 FanDuel points in the process. In six games (four starts) last season, he threw 3 touchdowns and 7 interceptions while completing 56.4 percent of his passes at 6.1 yards per attempt.
