Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones was arrested for speeding, driving without a valid license, and operating a vehicle with a controlled substance in his system in early October, reports Michael Cohen of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
According to the incident report, Jones admitted to smoking marijuana prior to operating the vehicle. "He made a mistake," said head coach Mike McCarthy, who spoke with the rookie after the incident. The fifth-round pick, who is currently sidelined with an MCL sprain, pleaded not guilty to all three charges.
On the season, Jones has 70 rushes for 370 yards and 3 touchdowns with 8 receptions (16 targets) for 16 yards in eight games (four starts).
