Indianapolis Colts cornerback Vontae Davis is expected to miss "multiple games" with a groin injury, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Both Davis and coach Chuck Pagano said that the injury is "significant", but the veteran corner is still considered week-to-week for now. Davis has had a history with lower-body injuries and could miss even more time with the injury. Until he returns, Rashaan Melvin and a pair of rookies will be asked to hold down the fort for the Colts' secondary.
Going into the 2017 season, our numbers have the Colts as the sixth-worst passing defense in the NFL. Without Davis, they're worse and could be a prime target for DFS and season-long quarterback streamers.
