Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera said defensive tackle Star Lotulelei (foot) is "right on track" to be ready for the season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Lotulelei has not practiced since early August when he suffered a stress reaction on his right foot. He underwent surgery on the same foot in January. Lotulelei is an important part of the Panthers defense through his interior pressure.
