The Miami Dolphins could look to the trade market for cornerback help, reports the Miami Herald.
The Dolphins acquired Byron Maxwell in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles last offseason, and he performed well during his first year in Miami. However, second-round rookie Xavien Howard appeared to be overmatched at times, so it would behoove them to bring in some additional help. Maxwell turns 29 next week.
The Dolphins' defense ranked 16th in the league in opponent-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points per play last season.
