Aaron Jones A. Jones

Aaron Jones (knee) officially out Thursday for Packers

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones (knee) is out for Week 12 against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving.

What It Means:

Jones is considered week-to-week due to an MCL sprain he suffered in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Chargers. AJ Dillon (groin) is questionable after being limited in practice this week and Emanuel Wilson (shoulder) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, so Patrick Taylor and James Robinson could end up splitting backfield work for Green Bay. Jayden Reed (chest) is another candidate for carries after leading the Packers with 46 yards last week.

Dillon is the RB20 in numberFire's Week 12 rankings and our models project him for 12.5 FanDuel points, with 17.1 carries, 71.0 rushing yards, 1.8 receptions, and 15.1 receiving yards. The Lions are allowing the fifth-fewest FanDuel points per game to running backs and their run defense is ranked 12th, per our opponent-adjusted efficiency rankings.
