Jaren Hall (concussion) sidelined again Thursday for Vikings

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Jaren Hall (concussion) did not practice again on Thursday for Week 10 against the New Orleans Saints.

What It Means:

Hall suffered a concussion in last week's win over the Atlanta Falcons and he's trending toward missing Sunday's game against the Saints. Joshua Dobbs is expected to start after leading the Vikings to a victory off the bench last week. Sean Mannion or Tanner Morgan will likely be promoted from the practice squad to backup Dobbs in Week 10.

Dobbs is the QB17 in numberFire's Week 10 rankings and our models project him for 14.9 FanDuel points, with 201.8 passing yards, 1.19 touchdowns, 0.8 interceptions, 5.1 carries, and 23.0 rushing yards. The Saints have the fourth-best pass defense in the NFL, per our opponent-adjusted NEP rankings, so Dobbs will have a tougher matchup than he did versus the Falcons last week.
