Former Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette is signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Fournette was surprisingly released by the Jaguars Monday, and it took him just 48 hours to find a new team. He joins a loaded Bucs backfield consisting of Ronald Jones, LeSean McCoy, Dare Ogunbowale and Ke'Shawn Vaughn. One would expect Fournette to see a lot of work given his high-profile status, but it's a crowded position room to beat out.
Fournette had 1,152 rushing yards on 265 carries (4.3 per attempt) last season with three touchdowns.
