The Miami Dolphins signed seventh-round rookie Malcolm Perry to a four-year contract.
Perry is expected to contribute at both wide receiver and running back. He played quarterback and slot back in college as part of the Navy Midshipmen's triple-option offense. Perry also averaged 24.6 yards as a kick returner, so there could be special teams work as well.
Perry finished 2nd in the nation in rushing yards (2,017) and scored 21 touchdowns as a senior. He had 22 catches for 470 yards (21.4 per reception) and 3 touchdowns over his collegiate career.
