Wide receiver Terrelle Pryor was released on Saturday afternoon by the New York Jets.
Pryor had a groin tear that was going to keep him out of action for a couple weeks, and instead of having him take a roster spot, the Jets decided to release him. They reportedly may sign him again once he's healthy, but in the meantime, Pryor will be a free agent.
In six games this season, Pryor has 14 catches, 235 yards, and two touchdowns.
