10 Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 9
Melvin Gordon has been a disappointment all season. Is this the week he turns things around?

Tyrod Taylor, QB, Buffalo Bills

Tyrod Taylor a sleeper? Nah, can't be, right?

The man affectionately known as "TyGod" throughout the fantasy football community had seemingly graduated from sleeper status into full blown fantasy starter after the first five weeks of the season.

Through Week 5, he was the eighth ranked fantasy quarterback before being forced to miss the past three weeks due to an injury and a bye week.

Due to this absence, Taylor's ownership percentage has dropped to a meager 52% in ESPN leagues. With many owners having seemingly moved on, Taylor finds himself back in the sleeper conversation this week.

Now healthy, he'll face off against the Miami Dolphins in Buffalo this week.

While not a perfect matchup on paper -- the Dolphins' pass defense is average, ranking 19th in our Adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per play metric, and the game has a low over-under of 44 points -- Taylor roasted the Dolphins secondary for 277 yards and 3 touchdowns in Week 3.

As a slight home favorite in this game, Taylor has top-five upside. As a dual-threat quarterback, his floor is actually reasonably high as well.

We have him ranked as the 10th best quarterback this week, making him a great choice for your season long league and also as a lower cost option in daily fantasy leagues.
