6 NFL FanDuel Value Plays for the Conference Championships
Is Jared Goff's upside enough to put him in play as the slate's cheapest quarterback?

Damien Williams, RB, Kansas City Chiefs

Price: $7,200

Damien Williams is once again the premier value option at running back. Yes, $7,200 is steep for a value play, but he's only the fifth-most expensive running back on this slate, and the position skewing so expensive forces us to shift our idea of what is inexpensive.

After closing the regular season with an average of 16 opportunities (11.3 carries and 4.7 targets) per game over his last three, he notched 25 carries and 6 targets in a Divisional Round win over the Indianapolis Colts, notching 23.9 FanDuel points.

We shouldn't expect that kind of rushing volume this week, as that was a fairly one-sided 18-point win, which lent itself to a more run-heavy game script. Still, as 3-point favorites they're not likely to be forced to play catch-up. And Williams' passing game volume helps isolate against negative game script as well -- with at least six targets in three of his last four games.

The New England Patriots rank worse against the run than the Colts did, by our metrics, and Williams is way under-priced relative to the volume he stands to see here. For running backs, that volume is what we're really looking for, and Williams is a steal again this week.
