7 Deep Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 9
Devontae Booker shined in Week 8 and could play a large role for Denver again this Sunday. What other low-owned options are we looking at for Week 9?

Brock Osweiler, QB, Miami Dolphins

Yahoo! Ownership: 4%

With six teams on bye this week, we have to dig deep for quarterback streaming options. What we are left with may not excite, but Brock Osweiler can be productive enough in Week 9 to get you through a rough spot.

In three starts for the Miami Dolphins, Osweiler may own a 1-2 record, but he has averaged over 285 passing yards while recording two games with at least 17.5 fantasy points. He's tossed 5 touchdowns (5.1% touchdown rate) while completing over 63% of his 117 passes. Not mind-blowing numbers for the quarterback, but serviceable for fantasy purposes in a pinch. Facing the New York Jets this Sunday, Osweiler has a plus matchup too.

Through eight games, the Jets have given up 15 touchdowns passes and nearly 260 passing yards per game. They rank 13th in the NFL with 18.0 fantasy points allowed per game to opposing quarterbacks. They have given up four 300-yard passing performances, including a pair to middling also-ran quarterbacks Blake Bortles and Case Keenum. If those two can do it, there is no reason Osweiler can't either.
