Fantasy Football: 5 Historical Vegas Trends You Should Know for Week 2
Kenny Stills produces better when the Dolphins are underdogs. Where else can the betting odds give us an edge this week?

Melvin Gordon is a Great Bet as a Heavy Favorite

The Los Angeles Chargers will head east to play the Buffalo Bills, who, last week, surrendered 47 points to the Baltimore Ravens in a rather lopsided affair. Josh Allen will start for them this week and Vegas still sees the Chargers as 7.5-point favorites, the largest road favorite of the week. This is good news for Melvin Gordon who gets a slight bump in opportunity, and a spike in fantasy points, when the Chargers are expected to lead by a field goal or more.

Gordon carries the ball an additional 2.2 in these games and scores an extra 3.8 fantasy points per game in that split. Even though the Chargers don't need to pass the ball as much when they're winning, Gordon has seen been targeted one more time per game in these situations as well.

He costs $8,200 this week, making him a way to get off of the top-priced tier of backs while still finding stud-levels of fantasy production.
