Fantasy Football: 4 Historical Vegas Trends You Should Know for Super Bowl LII
What do the odds say about the Super Bowl for certain players -- such as Alshon Jeffery's performance as an underdog -- and how can your fantasy teams benefit?

Avoid LeGarrette Blount as an Underdog

The revenge game narrative will certainly be used as a reason to start LeGarrette Blount this weekend, but I'm not buying. Does a player get extra-motivated in a revenge game? This is the Super Bowl. I think each player has enough motivation.

Over the past three seasons, he has scored fewer points when his team was an underdog. This is likely due to his lack of a role in the passing game during his tenure with the Pats and now with the Eagles.

The sample size is small since the Pats are almost always favored, but in those six games, Blount has averaged just around 7.5 points.

He is priced at $9,000, which ranks 14th among all players on FanDuel. He is not a safe cash game play, but does have touchdown upside as a tournament dart throw.
